Re-Kill

Re-Kill is a 2015 American action-horror film directed by Valeri Milev and written by Michael Hurst, set five years after a zombie outbreak and framed as a reality TV show. It stars Roger Cross, Scott Adkins, Daniella Alonso and Bruce Payne. Camera crews embedded with an elite anti-zombie unit follow its patrols through a city where the infected are far from contained.

Found-footage horror inverts the usual brief: the effects have to look like they were caught by accident. That pushes the work toward digital gore and blood simulation layered over practical prosthetics, muzzle flashes and impact elements, crowd replication to swell the infected well beyond the extras available, ruined-city set extensions and matte painting, and a compositing pass that deliberately puts sensor noise, lens grime and broadcast artefacts back into the frame. Terminal FX contributed visual effects and animation to Re-Kill as part of its film, television and commercial portfolio.
