Saaho

Saaho is a 2019 Indian action thriller written and directed by Sujeeth, starring Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor for producers UV Creations and T-Series. Shot simultaneously in Telugu, Hindi and Tamil and released with a Malayalam dub, it follows an undercover officer drawn into a gang war over a fortune in the fictional city of Waaji, with Neil Nitin Mukesh, Chunky Panday and Jackie Shroff in support.

Few formats stress an effects pipeline like the Indian action blockbuster, where the set pieces are the story. The demand runs to rigid-body and pyro simulation for collapsing vehicles and detonations, digital doubles for stunts no performer can take, CG environments and matte painting to raise an invented skyline, and crowd systems to fill it. Every plate then needs wire and rig removal, rotoscoping and multi-layer compositing before the fire, dust and debris read as one photographed event. Terminal FX contributed visual effects and animation to Saaho as part of its film, television and commercial portfolio.
